Embodied Awareness takes into account the conditions that come with being human, be they physiological, psychological or spiritual conditions, and helps you to free yourself to be and embody your spiritual Self.
Introduction to Embodied Awareness Online provides the fundamentals of Embodied Awareness. Modules1-4 provide terminology and basic information, theory to support your experiential on line learning in Modules 5 through 10. Modules 5-10 consist of practical exercises needed to conceptualize and understand the practice of Embodied Awareness. You will learn a contemplative meditation practice that awakens inner guidance and trains you in inner work process in which you embody awareness via tracking your senses, emotions, thoughts, and expanded intuitive perceptions. By the end of this course you will be able define and discuss Embodied Awareness plus help yourself and others explore some basic practices within individual, family, group, community, agency or institutional settings.
The Introduction to Embodied Awareness Online course is CAMFT CEPA and CCPA accredited in both California and Canada to offer 24 hours continuing education and also meets the qualifications for up to 24 hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists ) to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs and LEPs. This online course contains 10 modules. Each Module consists of Sections and each Section has a multiple-choice quiz. Each quiz is designed to confirm your overall review of the material. At the end of each Module there is a multiple choice End of Module Exam. After you have completed and passed all 10 of the Module quizzes, exams (with a composite score of 75%) and filled out an evaluation form you will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Canadian Institute for Transpersonal and Integrative Sciences (CITIS).
Course Schedule: Students may register and begin the course at any time. Once having registered and paid for the course students will have 3 months to complete the Modules that they have purchased; this includes both grouped Modules (Modules 1 – 10) and individually sold Modules (Module 1, Modules 2, Module 3 and Module 4).
